In response to the escalation of 2019-novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and continued global uncertainty, the University of Notre Dame is suspending all summer 2020 outbound study abroad programs. An email was sent out to all affected students and faculty on March 17, 2020. This includes twenty Notre Dame International (NDI) programs.

No decision has been made regarding NDI’s on-campus summer programs, which are scheduled to run starting this May. Notre Dame International is committed to the safety and well-being of all members of the University community and will continue to monitor developments with the rapidly evolving outbreak of COVID-19.

Last week, the University suspended all study abroad programs for spring 2020. Students have since returned to the United States or their home countries. All University-sponsored international travel is prohibited through April 13.
