Beijing Global Gateway hosts special event with high school counselors

On December 9, 2021, the Beijing Global Gateway (BGG) hosted high school guidance counselors who are part of the Beijing Academy of College Counseling (BACC) for their second regular meeting of this academic year.

The half-day workshop was attended by 26 counselors from 11 high schools, including Affiliated High School of Peking University, Beijing 101 High School, Beijing Keystone Academy, High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University, and Tsinghua International School Daoxiang Lake.

“Notre Dame has always valued the importance of contributing to the development of the local community, including the high school students,” says Jingyu Wang, BGG’s executive director. “Therefore, Notre Dame Beijing Global Gateway is very pleased to take this opportunity to interact with high school counselors from BACC in China.”

BGG staff also presented on Notre Dame’s Greater China Scholars program and Global Scholars program and participated in the discussion on parent anxiety with the counselors during the event.
